Lucky latenight shoppers at Selfridges might have caught a glimpse of Gwendoline on Thursday as she performed her Crystal Shoe show for the Launch of Selfridges 'Undress to Impress' pormoton at an excluvie event held in conjunction with Hello Magazine. After the show Gwendoline posed for photographs in a stunning £2500 gown by Halston. Gwendoline is a great fan of Halston couture and fell in love with the gown on sight- we hop to bring you images soon!

Gwendoline has been asked to write a book on burlesque and is in the process of doing so at the moment. Based on her PhD research developing her ideas of performative femininity, burlesque and the courtesan it promises to be quite a read! meanwhile she continues to write for Time Out and other publications. Gwendoline posts some of her writing on the school page and on her MySpace page.
